What happens if a mosque account goes inactive
Awqōt removes accounts that go completely unused for years, with a warning first — here's exactly how the clock works, and what keeps it from ever running.

If a mosque has had no owner sign-in and no kiosk activity for close to 3 years, we email the owner a 30-day warning. Simply signing in, or the kiosk continuing to run and display normally, is enough to reset the clock — no other action is needed. If the full 30 days pass with still no activity, the account is removed automatically and permanently, the same as requesting deletion yourself.
What counts as activity
Two things keep this clock from ever starting: the mosque owner signing in to the admin panel, and the kiosk display itself being on and running. As long as either one has happened recently, the account is nowhere near this — this is meant for accounts that have gone genuinely and completely unused, not ones that are simply quiet for a few weeks.
The 30-day warning
30 days before the 3-year mark, we send a one-time email to the mosque's owner explaining that the account is scheduled for removal, and that signing in is all that's needed to stop it.
Resetting the clock
There's no separate "cancel" button for this — signing in to the admin panel, or the kiosk simply continuing to display normally, is enough on its own. Either one resets the clock, whether it happens the day after the warning email or right up against the 30-day deadline.
If the 30 days pass with no activity
Removal happens automatically, with the same scope as requesting deletion yourself: slides, kiosk settings, uploaded images and verification documents, and the admin account are all permanently removed. There's no recovery after this point.
Common questions
Do I need to click something in the warning email to stop this?
No — just sign in to your admin panel any time in the 30 days. The email itself doesn't have a "cancel" link or button; signing in is what resets the clock.
Does the kiosk display running count even if nobody signs in?
Yes — an active, running kiosk display is one of the two things that keeps this clock from ever starting, independent of whether anyone has logged in to the admin panel recently.
Is this the same as requesting deletion myself?
The end result is the same — everything is permanently removed. The difference is only in what triggers it: this happens automatically after years of no activity, while deleting your mosque's account is something an owner chooses to start, with its own 30-day cancelable window.
