Understanding your storage limits
What counts against your storage, how the limits change once you're verified, and what happens when you're near the cap.
Quick answer
Trial mosques get 1 announcement slide (up to 20MB). Once verified, there's no fixed number of slides — just 150MB combined for all of them, plus a 50MB allowance for your logo, OG image and the other images you upload — 200MB in total.
What counts against your limit
- Announcement slides: up to 20MB per slide, 150MB combined across all your slides
- Mosque logo: up to 2MB
- OG image: up to 3MB — the image shown when your Awqōt link is shared on WhatsApp, Telegram, or social media
- Caption Bar images: up to 12MB each
- Panel images: up to 8MB each
- Alert background image (Prayer time overlay): up to 8MB
Everything except slides — your logo, OG image, Caption Bar images, panel images and alert background image — shares one 50MB allowance. Your overall cap is 200MB per mosque: 150MB for slides plus that 50MB.
The Kiosk background field on the Display tab is marked Coming soon, so there's no background upload yet. If a mosque is already over the 50MB image allowance, nothing is deleted — you just can't add more images until you remove some.
Trial vs. verified
While your mosque is on a trial, you can have 1 active slide (still up to 20MB). Once your mosque is verified — see Signing up, your trial, and getting verified — that limit goes away; only your 150MB slide storage allowance applies.
If you're near or over the limit
Your Mosque Admin Dashboard (awqot.app/admin) shows how much of your storage you've used. If an upload would put you over your slide cap, your image allowance or your total storage limit, you'll see an error explaining which limit it hit before the upload goes through — delete an existing slide to make room, or reduce the file size and try again.
