The text, always

The Caption Bar sits across the bottom of the display and shows your khutbah's current slide, whether Image Overlays is on or off. It's built to hold up to 3 lines of text per slide — if a slide's text would run longer than that, the extra is simply not shown, which is why khutbah text is broken into fairly short slides during extraction, and why merging several slides into one long line during review is worth avoiding. Image Overlays — a title-card behind the text

Turn on Image Overlays from the Caption Bar toggle, and a title-card image you've uploaded becomes the bar's background instead of the plain theme colour — the kind of thing you'd put up for Kuliah Maghrib, Kuliah Dhuha, or Program Pagi Jumaat. The text stays on top and keeps advancing normally; the image is the backdrop, not a replacement for it.

Images come from the gallery you upload in your admin panel's Live tab — see Panel images and Caption Bar for how to add and reorder them. Once you've uploaded some, tap the one you want directly from the thumbnail grid on /present to make it the current background — Prev/Next still pages through your khutbah text independently of which image is showing.

Turning Image Overlays on before you go live

You can turn Image Overlays on or off from the Khutbah tab on /present before pressing Start Camera — it's remembered and applied atomically the moment the camera actually starts, so there's no need to set it again after starting. You can still switch it at any point during a live session too.

Arabic text

Arabic slides — the opening formula, salawat, and Quran citations — are shown right-to-left with extra line spacing, since Arabic diacritics need more vertical room than Latin text to stay legible. This applies to the caption text regardless of whether Image Overlays is on.
