Panel images and Caption Bar
Everything you upload from the Live tab in your Mosque Admin Dashboard (awqot.app/admin) — the Panel B/C images shown during a live session, and Caption Bar Images.
Quick answer
From Mosque Admin Dashboard → Live, upload Panel images to fill Panel B and Panel C during a live session, and Caption Bar images for the display's caption bar. Images are automatically resized and compressed on upload — you don't need to prepare them yourself first.
A, Panel B, and Panel C
Your Live tab shows a small diagram of the display: A is the big area, where your slides, khutbah, or camera feed show — there's no image upload for it here. Panel B and Panel C are the two side slots the upload fields below actually control:
- Panel B — with the khutbah selected, the Panel B switch under Display settings on Live Session Control Panel (awqot.app/present) switches this between the timetable and your uploaded image, any time during a live session. With a slide deck there's no switch: Panel B shows the timetable normally, and automatically switches to the live camera feed the instant the kiosk camera is actually running — no image option there.
- Panel C — shown in the bottom third whenever any live session is active, in place of the reflection feed.
Uploading a panel image
1280×720 is the recommended size. jpg and png files are automatically resized and compressed on upload, landing under 2MB — you can upload a larger original and Awqōt will handle it. GIFs are checked against the same 2MB cap but not resized, so the animation stays intact; if a GIF is over 2MB, reduce it yourself before uploading. PNG and GIF both keep transparency; a jpg will show a solid background wherever the image doesn't cover.
Caption Bar Images
Below Panel images, the Caption Bar Images section holds your gallery — any image the mosque uploads to replace the Caption Bar's plain background color, whether that's mosque branding, a program title, or a PayNow/donation QR code. With the khutbah it layers behind the extracted khutbah text, with both showing together; over a slide deck it shows alone, with no text over it (see What the congregation sees). Upload as many as you need, give each a name with Rename (the name shows under its thumbnail on Live Session Control Panel, so you can tell them apart), and reorder them with the up/down arrows next to each one; the order here is the order they appear in on Live Session Control Panel's selection grid.
You can't delete an image that's currently live on the display — tap Reset Session or switch to a different image first, then delete it.

How long a live session lasts
A live session ends on its own after 90 minutes with no tap, and at the next adzan — see Understanding Live Session Mode for the details. Tapping Reset Session, Leave session or signing out of Live Session Control Panel ends it immediately.
Common questions
Do I need to resize my images before uploading?
No — jpg and png panel images are resized and compressed automatically. GIFs are only size-checked, not resized, so you may need to shrink a large GIF yourself before uploading.
What's the difference between Panel images and Caption Bar?
Panel images (Panel B and Panel C) fill slots beside your main display. Caption Bar is a separate gallery for the strip across the bottom of the display, layered over the khutbah text — see What the congregation sees.
